Located near Marseille, OZO masters the complete design of a battery pack: selection of cells, electronic integration with BMS, mechanical assembly, testing, validation and adaptation to specific constraints.

Depending on the application, OZO develops batteries based on two major lithium technologies: Lithium-Ion and LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate), each meeting specific needs.

Lithium-ion batteries are preferred when priority is given to compactness, reduced weight and energy density. They are particularly suitable for electric mobility applications such as cycling, light vehicles or certain projects requiring an excellent weight/range ratio.

 

The LiFePO4 batteries, meanwhile, are known for their robustness, thermal stability and very long life. This technology is particularly relevant for stationary or intensive applications such as solar storage, boating, service batteries or uses requiring a large number of charge and discharge cycles.

The choice between Lithium-Ion and LiFePO4 therefore depends primarily on your use, your technical constraints and your performance objectives. WHICH TYPE OF LITHIUM BATTERY TO CHOOSE ACCORDING TO YOUR USE?

Beyond the choice of technology (Lithium-Ion or LiFePO4), the physical format of the battery is a decisive criterion. Available space, integration constraints, mobility, exposure to shocks or humidity: each project imposes a specific format.

OZO designs and assembles several lithium battery architectures in order to meet very different uses, from electric bicycles to industrial applications, including boating or mobile solutions.

Battery without fairing (PVC / Softpack)

The fairless battery, sometimes called PVC or Softpack battery, is the most compact version of a lithium battery pack. The cells are assembled, welded, protected by insulating plates, then sealed under a heat-shrink sheath. This format is designed to be integrated into an existing structure: bicycle frame, bag, technical box or dedicated compartment.

Battery with fairing

The battery with fairing is protected by a rigid ABS or aluminum housing, designed for direct use. This format generally includes a fastening system, a key lock, secure connections, and sometimes even an LED load indicator. This is the standard format for electric bike batteries, especially on Hailong, Dolphin, or frame battery types.

Suitcase battery

The lithium suitcase battery meets the needs for mobility, robustness and maximum protection. The battery pack is integrated in a hard case with carrying handle and quick connectors. It is particularly suitable for boating, mobile energy stations, professional uses as well as nomadic applications.
