DIY Battery Kit - Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) 12V 34Ah 408Wh
Complete kit to assemble your own high-performance and compact battery using cylindrical cells.
Material included in the kit:
- 8 Headway 40152S 3.2V 17Ah cylindrical cells: High-power cells supporting a high discharge current. Individually tested before shipping to guarantee perfect pack balancing.
- 100A BMS: Regulation circuit (Battery Management System) with a common charge port (17A max based on cell characteristics) for independent charge and discharge cycles.
- 8 battery holders / interlocking matrices: Used to securely fit and lock the cells together to form a compact and highly robust block.
- 14 busbars: Made of pure copper with a thickness of 2 mm, specifically designed for Headway cells.
- Power cables: 8AWG cross-section | Standard length: 40 cm (lengths can be modified upon request).
- Suitable fuse and complete hardware set
Required tool:
A simple screwdriver is enough. No prior knowledge of electronics is required. The complete wiring diagram and schematic are provided with the purchase.

⚠️ Precautions and Conditions of Use
The battery pack must be stored in a dry and ventilated area. The nominal current of the cells is 0.5C (17A) for charging and 2C (68A) for continuous discharge, with a peak tolerance (0.5s) of up to 6C (204A).
Although the absolute operating temperature ranges from -20°C to 60°C, we recommend an optimal storage and usage range between 0°C and 50°C to maximize the lifespan of your cells. The metallic terminals must be properly insulated and protected to avoid any risk of accidental short-circuits caused by a falling tool.
