OZO FOC BLUETOOTH CONTROLLERS
This range of controllers provides a high-performance control solution for IPM and PMSM brushless motors equipped with Hall sensors. Thanks to FOC vector control, 4-quadrant operation and extensive Bluetooth programming capabilities, it allows the motor behavior to be precisely adapted to a wide variety of applications: electric mobility (motorcycles, quads, go-karts and small electric vehicles), marine applications (inboard propulsion), industrial or agricultural machinery.
Key feature of the range
A single controller can be extensively configured to suit the vehicle or machine: throttle response, current limits, braking behavior, energy recovery, forward/reverse operation, power levels and numerous protection parameters.
A very wide power range
The range is available in eight continuous current ratings, covering everything from compact applications to very high-power motor systems.
| Continuous current | Maximum current | Cooling |
|---|---|---|
| 70 A | 240 A | Air |
| 80 A | 260 A | Air |
| 100 A | 300 A | Air |
| 120 A | 340 A | Air / Liquid |
| 170 A | 340 A | Air / Liquid |
| 200 A | 450 A | Air |
| 350 A | 530 A | Air / Liquid |
The 70 A, 80 A and 100 A versions are designed to operate with air cooling. From the 120 A model upwards, liquid cooling is available to increase the ability to maintain high power over long periods.
Liquid cooling is not mandatory, however, even on versions compatible with a liquid cooling circuit. Properly sized air cooling is perfectly suitable for most applications. Liquid cooling becomes particularly useful for applications operating for long periods under high load, in an enclosed compartment or with limited airflow (for example, certain marine or industrial applications).

There are 2 power controller formats:
The mini format, available only for the 70A version.
And the standard format for all our other models.
Models above 100A feature inlet and outlet connections with brass fittings for liquid cooling.
For more information, you can find the 2D and 3D drawings in the “Attachments” tab.
Complete Bluetooth programming
A range of power controllers for brushless electric motors designed to combine high power, precise control and extensive configuration flexibility.
For more information about the programming options, see the manual here
The controller features a built-in or external Bluetooth module depending on the version, allowing it to connect directly to the smartphone application available on Android and IOS. Configuration can therefore be carried out quickly without removing the controller.
- • Adjustment of battery and phase currents as well as the various protections in order to adapt torque and power to the motor system.
- • Adjustment of acceleration and deceleration sensitivity and progression. Adjustment of acceleration and deceleration sensitivity and progression.
- • Configuration of throttle thresholds and adaptation to different types of controls.
- • Adjustment of power levels and motor speed, forward/reverse functions, cruise control and auxiliary functions.
- • Real-time monitoring of the main motor, controller and battery data, with the option of using the smartphone as a setup dashboard.

Several throttle control modes

The programming flexibility allows the control mode to be adapted to the ergonomics of the machine and its intended use.
- Proportional mode: the command changes progressively according to the position of the throttle, pedal or potentiometer.
- WigWag mode: a central position acts as neutral; moving the control to either side controls the two directions of operation.
- Push-button mode: suitable for simple or industrial applications requiring direct control by pulse or contact.
You can then precisely adjust the power sent to the motor according to motor speed.
Likewise, each speed mode can be precisely adjusted.
Fully configurable regenerative braking
The power controller manages electric braking with energy recovery back to the battery. Braking force is not limited to a fixed value: it can be adjusted according to motor speed, providing smoother braking that is better suited to the rotational speed.
- Adjustment of regenerative braking current and its maximum value.
- Adjustment of braking intensity according to motor speed to maintain consistent behavior at both low and high speeds.
- Possibility of combining regenerative braking, throttle cut-off and different control strategies depending on the application.
Energy recovery must be configured in accordance with the charging current accepted by the battery and its BMS.

4-quadrant FOC control
Field-Oriented Control (FOC) provides precise motor torque control and smooth response. 4-quadrant operation allows both motor drive and electric braking to be managed in both directions of rotation. This architecture is particularly useful for applications where reverse operation, frequent direction changes or precise torque control are important.
- Motor torque delivered progressively and in a controlled manner.
- Forward and reverse operation controlled by the same controller.
- Regenerative braking available during deceleration phases.
- Configurable response to prioritize smoothness, precision or dynamic performance depending on the application.
CAN connectivity
Our controllers can be equipped with a CAN communication interface upon request. This can notably be used to transmit the main operating data in real time: motor rotational speed, motor and controller temperature, speed mode, instantaneous current and power consumption, battery voltage and motor operating time.
Connector details

3 positions (optional): Supplied as standard with an adapter allowing operation in the most powerful mode. You can use a 3-position switch such as these: option 1 or option 2 to make full use of your motor's operating range even at lower speeds.
Temperature sensor : Sends the motor temperature to the controller to help prevent overheating. (Different connectors depending on the version)
Cruise control (optional): Works on the same principle as the cruise control in your car: you select a cruising speed, release the throttle and the electronics regulate motor power to maintain a constant speed. Available here.
Throttle: Several types are available depending on your needs: standard proportional throttle, WigWag for boats, or a pedal sensor for mopeds.
Boost (optional): Allows additional power to be temporarily delivered to the motor, activated using a simple momentary push button.
Hall sensors or encoders: Feedback signal allowing the controller to determine the rotor position and control the three phases at the appropriate time. (Different connectors depending on the version)
Reverse (optional): Reverses the direction of motor rotation (you can also configure the reverse rotation speed via the application), activated using a push button or a 2-position switch.
Switched positive : Safety connection required for system operation, connected directly to the positive terminal of your battery. Between the two, you can wire a cut-off device such as a key switch, a switch, an emergency stop, or a man-overboard type cut-off switch.
Brake cut-off: Allows the system to be grounded or regenerative braking to be activated (adjustable in the application). You can use a connection such as a bicycle brake switch or a switch.
Download port : (the Bluetooth module is integrated as standard on our models) but this port allows communication between the controller and the application via the external Bluetooth module for programming and data display, as well as programming via software for certain specific applications.
Analog speed signal: Allows the motor rotational speed to be retrieved and displayed on a screen.
Connectors vary slightly depending on the model. You will find the complete pinout for the different controllers in the “Attachments” tab.
