Description

The OZO 30A controller dedicated to the MAC motor is a concentrate of technology. It integrates high-quality electronic components from the automotive industry.

This power variator is the brain of your kit. It will allow you to achieve everything you want to do with your electric bike.

Featuring Field-Oriented Control (FOC) technology, the output curve of the three phases is sinusoidal. This provides a smoother ride and much quieter motor operation.

FOC Signal Technology

You can control the motor via a pedal assist sensor (PAS) if you want pedal assistance, via a throttle, or both.

You can use an on-board computer (Cycle Analyst) to adjust all the parameters of your motor setup yourself.

Fully upgradeable, you will be able to add a multitude of features over time: Cycle Analyst V2 or V3, 3-position switch, cruise control, ON/OFF switch, regenerative braking, brake cut-off, PAS sensor, throttle...

CONNECTORS AND CABLE LENGTHS AT CONTROLLER OUTPUT

(1) Temperature Sensor

Connector: White 2-way female JST for connecting a temperature sensor. Most OZO motors integrate an NTC 10kOhm temperature sensor. If the motor temperature reaches 110°C, the power will be halved to avoid any risk of motor overheating.

(2) (3) Motor Cables and Hall Sensors

Motor Cable (2): Anderson Powerpole PP30 connectors for power. Length: 80 cm.

Hall Sensors (3): 5-pin female JULET connector. If your motor does not have a sensor, leave this connector free (heat shrink tubing is recommended to ensure waterproofing).

(4) Battery Cable

Connectors: Anderson Powerpole PP30. Length: 90 cm.

Red: Positive terminal
Black: Negative terminal

(5) Pedal Assist Sensor (PAS)

Connector: Orange 3-pin female JULET for connecting a 6 or 12-magnet pedal assist sensor. Length: 15.5 cm.

Connector: 3-way JST. Length: 15.5 cm.

Red: +5V | Black: Ground | Green: Signal

(7) Brake Cut-off / Regenerative Braking

Connector: 4-way JST for connecting a brake lever with cut-off switch or a push button.

Cuts the motor power during braking or deactivates the cruise control. Length: 18 cm.
Blue: Grounding | Black: Ground

(8) Cycle Analyst

Connector: 6-way JST for connecting a Cycle Analyst V2 or V3. Length: 18 cm.

Red: +battery | Black: Ground | Blue: Shunt input | White: Shunt output | Yellow: Hall sensors signal | Green: Throttle signal

(9) 3-Position Switch

Connector: White 3-way male JST to connect our 3-position switch.

Provides three different power modes: 30%, 60%, and 100%. Length: 15.5 cm.

(11) ON/OFF Switch

If you want an ON/OFF switch on the handlebar or on the controller, simply cut this pink loop and connect our waterproof 2-position switch.
