The Trike 250W kit has been designed for long-distance travel on a recumbent trike with luggage while staying within the 250W power limit. The motor equipped with this kit is the legendary "Freerider", our best seller since 2010. The reinforced gears make this motor reliable, easy to maintain, and pleasant to ride as it features an internal freewheel that disengages the motor when not powered. The Trike 250W kit is not offered with the classic Bobber 250W motor because most trike users prefer the 55N.m torque provided by the Freerider motor and its robustness in all conditions.
This kit fully complies with VAE criteria: 250W and 25Km/h.

KIT CONTENTS
MOTORIZED WHEEL
A hand-spoked wheel with a 250W motor and French-made rims and spokes.
CONTROL DISPLAY
The control screen displays range, speed, and distance.
BATTERY
Choose based on the desired range.
RANGE
"Frame" batteries are installed in place of the water bottle holder on the bike frame. If your bike doesn't have a water bottle mount, you can install the frame battery using threaded adapters.
These batteries have a casing that protects them from shocks, dust, and water. This casing also provides good theft protection with a lock that secures the battery to the frame with a key. A range gauge and an ON/OFF switch are integrated into the battery.
To meet all range needs, OZO offers a wide choice of capacities, from 500Wh to 1000Wh.
The battery capacity should be chosen based on the desired range. For example, a 500Wh battery will offer about 50Km of range without straining the bike, and up to 100Km depending on your effort. A 1000Wh battery will provide double the range.
